The term "found art" typically describes art created from the undisguised, but often modified, use of objects that are not normally considered art, often because they already have a non-art function. I've hijacked the term to more literally describe photos that I've discovered at yard sales, boutique shops, and old scrap books. Early photography has left antique photos for people to cherish. From the common cartes de visite and cabinet cards, to earlier daguerreotypes and tintypes, an actual image of a time gone by can be priceless. Here are my favorites.
